In this project, I explored the fundamentals of Adobe Illustrator by creating a vector illustration based on a photograph of an insect, spider, or succulent plant. Utilizing a high-quality image from Unsplash, I focused on understanding key techniques such as layering, shape building, and color application.

The goal was to transform a realistic photograph into a stylized vector graphic, allowing for a deeper appreciation of digital illustration processes. This project not only enhanced my technical skills but also challenged my creative instincts, as I experimented with different styles and compositions.

The final illustration showcases my ability to capture intricate details while simplifying forms, making it a striking addition to my portfolio. Through this project, I gained valuable experience in vector art, which I look forward to applying to future designs.
